Urban Family | Hinsdale Photograpehr

When it is time for family pictures, I get the most requests for woodsy bridges. That tends to be the most common. So I was delighted when this family wanted something different. They had seen my posts with this urban setting, and so they ventured forth from Hinsdale to meet me here.

When people think urban, I love this spot because the above underpass is all solid cream which goes with any colors, making picking outfits easy. It is also fun to go a little bold in both color and style. Concrete and brick are common materials when choosing an urban setting. This is one of my favorite walls because of all the textures.

Thankfully, there was also a great staircase nearby. I love using stairs to give me altered heights. This may be my favorite family picture from the session. I love everything about this one – the casual posing, the pops of color, the smiles.

I liked it so much, I had to keep using it for some individuals and this great sibling picture.  The boys had new shoes and were excited to show them off.

How about one more under the overpass? It may be loud with trains and all, but still a cool spot.
