The female form.  I understand why sculptors and painters so often choose naked women as their subjects.  Women are just beautiful.  Their lines, their curves, how shadows fall across their skin.  But true art doesn’t just show the shape of a body, they show emotion through the art.  Pregnant women are innately powerful.  Quietly strong.  Stoically beautiful.  And peaceful.

I am so thankful to this gorgeous mom-to-be.  At 36.5 weeks, I was amazed at how tiny she was.  Just a basketball in her belly.  She was so adorable!  I can’t wait to meet her little bundle.  I also love that she was not shy with her body, which allowed me to get these great images.
