Naperville Maternity Photographer, Chicago Maternity Photographer
When I first met this client, it was for a boudoir session through my boudoir line – Fiery Nights Boudoir. Then about a year later, I saw her for a maternity session! It’s been a couple years now, and she is back for another maternity session for her second child. She had lots of ideas on what she wanted. I welcome clients coming with ideas. Unfortunately, she didn’t want to share her face or be identified in the images. At least I could share these headless ones with you all. LOL We started with my flowy fabric shot. It is always a classic and pretty much always requested. I also love how much her freckles showed up in this image.
I also always love the rim lighting images. Usually, I do a full black background, but I’m kind of digging this gradation.
She had seen a similar image in my galleries, and I haven’t done this one in years, so it was nice to do it again.
Such a beautiful robe, perfect to peek through to the belly beneath.
Sometimes, a simple casual picture can be so beautiful. And that outfit looked incredibly comfy!
She brought along the letter blocks. Since she doesn’t know the name of the baby, yet, this always works well.
Lastly, this one was all her idea. She brought along glitter confetti. We put down her dresses, so that we could capture the mess – and it really was a mess! LOL
If you are currently pregnant and interested in maternity pictures, we hope you contact Firefly Nights Photography. Ideally, we recommend doing maternity sessions between 32-34 weeks.
