Naperville Newborn Photographer | Baby C

One of the biggest honors is to be asked to photograph another photographer’s family.  That is a great gift.  But it is all together something else when a world-class photographer and icon asks you to do newborn pictures of their grandchild.  Like, seriously, no pressure!! LOL  Now, I only do newborn sessions in my studio. Before having a studio, I used to travel to people’s homes for newborn sessions, but as a Naperville newborn photographer, having people come to me is not only much easier, but results in better pictures because I have so much stuff at my disposal. Too much that I would never bring it all in my car.  But for this good friend, I made an exception due to health reasons.  So I packed up my car and went out to her studio.

Let me tell you, it is really weird to work in another photographer’s space.  LOL I’m so used to my own setup and gear, that it was a unique experience. This baby girl was chunky monkey and sweet and sleepy.  Those cheeks! I could have nibbled on them all day.

 

Now since I had to drive, I only chose two colors of blankets to bring after talking with them on what colors they like. Coral and a light sage green are the colors of her nursery.

 

We also kept the color scheme with fur and a wrap, as well.

 

But we also switched to a nice, neutral cream.  I love this color on every skin tone.  I love that she was big enough to have fat rolls!

 

Now the picture that she really wanted what this next one. She bought the fresh flowers and wanted the colors of the coral and green together. It turned out great!
