I have definitely had a lot of fun with my magical skirt with senior girls this past year.  If you follow my work as a Naperville senior photographer, you’ve seen it in pink and red, and now a goldish green.  It is the same skirt each time, and the girls provide the top, then I make it whatever color we want based on the look we are going for.  I love the color we went with for this urban session.  I love the idea of contrasting urban/edgy/grunge with high fashion.  This image took a three person team of myself, then the senior’s mom and sister to help billow the skirt.  It turned out awesomely.

 

And then a full image to show the drama.  We definitely gathered some onlookers with this setup.  So if you want to use my billowing skirt, no problem!  It’s perfect for the senior who wants a bit of drama and something uniquely gorgeous. 

 

After the over the top dress, she changed into something more “her”.  I love the casual outfit.  When seniors ask about what they should wear, I always say to have outfits that showcase different aspects of their personality.  Having a flannel shirt and jeans I thought was just perfect.

 

 

This girl was all smiles but also all attitude (in a good way).  Getting variety in expression, outfit, and location are key factors for a great senior session.

 

And then one more outfit change, something a little dressier.

 

I love this red door against the white crumbling brick wall.
