Twins | Wheaton Photographer

There are some clients whom I see every year.  So every year I get to see how the kids have changed and grown.  It’s like being a crazy aunt that the kids remember fondly as “that crazy lady who makes us say bad stuff!”  LOL  Well, with these twins, I’ve been photographing them for years, and my how the boy had grown!  His twin sister had always been the taller of the two, but those days are long gone.  I bet you next year he is going to be towering.  And while these teenagers have grown so much in these years, their personalities are still the same goofy, silly kids.

We had a gorgeous fall day for our session, and her burgundy dress was the perfect color to highlight the beautiful autumn colors around her.  Every year I try to think of somewhere new to go, some new look for their session.  This year we went to one of my favorite locations. I love this building and barn.

I try to make kids have fun, and to make 14 year old boy/girl twins hug or touch creates for cringe worthy moments.  So why not make it really over the top?  It was so funny.

She’s always been a pretty girl.  I love watching her grow up.

This kid has always been such a smiler.  It is so rare to have a boy who doesn’t abhor having his picture taken. Maybe it was his years of doing theater that makes him such a good sport.

This one is my favorite picture from this session.  I love the deep golden colors.  They got to be close but not touching, which made them (but especially him) happy.

It’s weird to look at fall pictures when we are entering spring. LOL  I am fine with totally skipping over spring with our ugly Chicago springs of rain and wind.  Too bad there are no flowering fields around here!
