Hinsdale Family Photographer | The New Family Member

I’ve been photographing this family for 10 full years now!!  So being their LaGrange / Hinsdale family photographer, I have taken them all over Chicago and the western burbs.  And every year I have to think of a new place or idea for them. LOL  So this year I went super local with downtown Naperville right by the studio, which was convenient. I had to pick a place that was dog friendly because the height of this year’s session was photographing their newest family member, Sunny, a perfectly sweet golden retriever puppy.  If you follow my work, you know I am a total dog lover, and Sunny was so very sweet and well behaved.

Our session was held on Labor Day weekend in the crush of people at Naperville’s Last Fling, but we were in the morning, so it wasn’t too crowded.  Everyone was all smiles even though it was super hot.

 

I love this picture of “all” the kids together.  Sunny was even smiling for me with her ears perfectly perked.

 

Then we had to do some individual pictures of the kids, and everyone wanted their chance to be one on one with their puppy.  I can’t say that I blame them.  Of course, by now, Sunny is way bigger. LOL I started with their eldest child.

 

Then it was time for the twins.  Sunny wasn’t so keen on getting close to a ledge, but she still loved some snuggles.

 

His twin sister was farther away from the ledge, so Sunny was more than happy to sit by her.  Of course, there were ducks behind me that were begging to be chased.

 

Then it was time to get the whole family again before we all melted away.  It’s hard to remember how horribly hot our summer was, isn’t it?
