Naperville Baby Photographer | First Year

What do you do for a one year old session if you are a Naperville baby photographer?  Anything you want!  While I really prefer to do six month sessions in studio, one year sessions could really be outside or in studio.  I remember when I did this little lady’s big brother’s one year session, and now it was her turn.  She had some of the biggest eyes and the most amazing dimple.  She looked like quite the little lady with this chair and setup.

How can you not just smile when faced with this adorable face?  I mean, seriously, I can practically hear her giggling in this picture.

 

Oh, and we get to see her two little teeth!  You can tell she is going to be a spitfire and giggle monster as she grows into toddlerhood.

 

And one more with this outfit.  She enjoyed showing me her tummy.  She was randomly just lifting up her dress, and when I asked her if she was showing me her belly, she lifted it over head and pointed to her belly button. LOL

 

Then it was time for an outfit change, as well as a change of scenery.  We left the studio to walk down to the riverwalk.  We have pictures of her brother during his one year session on this bridge, so we wanted to create some similar ones, though he was crawling and not walking.

 

We went out to the bright sun and played around before she got too tired.

 

Once we got back to the studio, it was time for her smash cake, which meant time to get out the paper roll, so we could contain the mess.  How do you like the cake collage?  Perfect for memorializing the event and her first year.
