Naperville Newborn Photographer, Chicago Newborn Photographer

I have been photographing this family since their son was a newborn.  It is hard to believe that now he is a big brother, and they have grown into a family of five!  They certainly make some beautiful children.  You would never have known that before they left home, he had a meltdown.  In the studio, he was completely sweet and well behaved and a great listener.  Big sister is always wonderful, and this time was no exception.  You know who the biggest stinker was?  It was baby Leighton!  LOL  That girl soiled up her mommy twice and me a couple of times, to boot!  Little stinker.  LOL  But she was seriously one of the most beautiful newborn babies I have ever photographed.  It’s hard to believe she was three weeks early with those big cheeks.

When she came into the studio for her newborn session, she was eight days old.  Let me introduce you to this little bundle of sweetness (if you don’t count the peeing and pooping).  Here’s the three siblings.

While they had brought a tutu, we ended up using mine.  Non-photographers don’t usually realize that babies hate the feel of tutus on them.  It is scratchy, and it wakes them up to put one on.  That is why mine are half tutus that you simply lay on them.

 

 

 

I haven’t used this prop against this background before. I love it!  Also, they had a special blanket that they wanted incorporated into a picture at some point.  We used it here and left the satin edges overhanging the circle.
