I got to have fun with another senior recently.  This 2016 Naperville North High School senior has waited until fall, though we had met a while back.  It was well worth the wait.  During our consultation, I got a feel for her – introverted, shy and quiet.  Sweet.  So as we are talking, and I’m thinking of what I want to do with such a girl, I mention seeing her on a swing in a field.  Her eyes lit up.  Yes!  We had a plan.  She normally does not wear any makeup, so my makeup artist used a light hand to just enhance her eyes and lips, while still keeping her looking like the person she sees every day in the mirror.

It was a beautiful day for our session.  I lugged my ladder and swing and lights and found just the right tree for the swing picture with the light in the right place and surrounded by a beautiful field of white and lavender flowers.  Her mom worked as my assistant with holding my light.  By adding light, we were able to make the whole scene look bright and sunny.

 

 

Then I had to get her in the autumn tall grasses.

 

Then she changed outfits into this fun dress. I had brought my ladder for hanging the swing.  But it made a fun prop with this look.

 

 

Then it was time for both a location and outfit change.  The sun was getting lower in the sky, making for a beautiful shot on the water for this silhouette.
