Naperville Maternity Photographer, Downers Grove maternity photographer
I remember thinking my pregnancies lasted a long time, but on other people, forty weeks fly by in the blink of an eye. It is always such a pleasure to photograph women during their pregnancies, especially if they are still feeling good and haven’t reached that swollen just “done” point. Women, you know what I’m talking about. That is why I always recommend doing maternity sessions between 32-34 weeks when possible. This sweet, young couple were great troopers on this sunny, muggy day. We went as fast as we could so they could get home to watch the Blackhawks’ game. 😉
Most of my clients do their maternity sessions in studio, but she opted for an outdoor session. We lucked out with good weather. It was fun to show their playful personalities – gotta love their matching black Converse. Too bad I didn’t wear my own pair that day (yes, I have the exact same shoes).
They brought both a black and red pair of baby Converse shoes. I couldn’t decide which I liked better.
After these playful, cute ones, she changed into a pretty dress, and we got to really show the beautiful golden sunlight.
How gorgeous is she here? I love those last two. While studio maternity pictures can get the edgy, dramatic, artsy lighting, there is something beautiful about a maternity session outside in the sun. Now to wait for their little baby to born in the next month! Good luck to them both (mostly her)!
