I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful pregnant woman recently. She had her makeup done by my makeup artist and looked so beautiful! Since maternity sessions are all about the woman, using my makeup and/ or hair team just adds to the experience. They are not needed, but why not pamper yourself (and look great in the process)? This lovely lady is expecting her third daughter, but this one will be 17 years younger than her next eldest sister. Can you believe it?? I could not believe how amazing she looked. It was a very fun maternity session, and I can’t wait to meet her little newborn next month.
We got so much variety during her session (including some beautiful, artistic nudes). Sexy, playful, classic, beautiful. Just like her. 😉 Man, her eyes!
She wanted to do my signature blowing fabric image, but she chose this light cream material, which I have actually never used for this type of image. It looked great with her.
And I really love her in this purple maternity dress with the classic, dark wall. And just look at that belly! It is a perfect ball!
Then we went a little more playful and casual with some brighter colors.
As you can see in these images, this woman has a definite linea nigra (the dark line running down her belly). Not all women have it, but when they do, I ask if it is something they want edited out. Unlike stretch marks which are always removed, this is a personal choice and something that really represents pregnancy. I’m glad she chose to leave it in. She and her belly are absolutely gorgeous.
