Senior Twins | Naperville Senior Photographer
Now that I’ve entered my glorious slow season, time to get back to my very long to-do list of sessions that still need blogging! So here we are with these senior twins. I had been fortunate to watch these two grow up over the years, see their personalities continue as a thread that eventually blossomed into the young adults you see here. Of course, now they are both in college, but I can still easily remember their senior session with me.

I get a couple senior twins every year, and parents aren’t sure how that works. There are two options. You can do a single session where we do mostly individuals with a couple of them together – but they must be at the same location and shot at the same time (not different days). Or you can do totally separate sessions, which allows for more images per senior.

For these two, they agreed to go for an urban session (mostly), with just a couple with some nature. Urban allowed for them both to show their personalities. One reserved and introverted and the other extroverted. Can you guess who is who?

Since I had been photographing them for years, it was easy for them to relax and just have fun with me. After the urban setting, they changed clothes and we went for something more nature oriented.

I so loved her dress, and the color popped out against the dark green surrounding.

And, then on a separate day we did the athlete portion of their senior session. A baseball and softball pitcher. Unlike most of my athlete images, we went on site to the Benet Academy fields to get images of them in action.
For this first one, she wanted 100% natural images as opposed to my more dramatic style.

But for her brother, I went more over the top. It was the actual mound and grass, but I removed the background and replaced with sky to create this image.

I encourage you to check out more of my work in my Galleries section.
