There’s something truly special about senior portrait sessions. Every single one feels like a celebration of a unique story, a fresh chapter, and all the excitement ahead. When picking locations for a senior session, I pick based on what the senior wants. But this is definitely one of my favorite places because it has just so many options! If you want beautiful nature (as opposed to woodsy or fields), this is a great option. From the moment she arrived, I knew this session would be magic. She showed up with the best attitude, a few carefully chosen outfits, and a clear idea of the vibe she wanted – natural, relaxed, and true to her.

You know I am a sucker for a serious portrait.

 

But really she was a smiley girl. This was much more true to her real personality.

 

What I loved about this session was how easily she let her personality shine. She laughed, twirled, leaned into the wind, and just had fun. That’s what senior portraits are all about – creating images that feel like you, not stiff poses or forced smiles.

 

While also balancing against beautiful scenes and capturing the different aspects of a complex personality.
