When newborn clients come in with their own props, sometimes I worry that they won’t go with my style at all.  This time, I had fun doing something I never would have done on my own.  This newborn came into see me recently. My initial reaction was that he was so big!!  He was only ten days old, but he looked like a three month old.  Since he was born in October, his mom wanted to do something with Halloween involved and had a candy corn hat and some actual candy corn packages.  I won’t like, I was worried.  What was I going to do that wasn’t just totally cheezy??  Well, we did this great shot of this little guy.  The candy came in handy later when a bit of sugar was needed for a pick me up. 😉

While this little guy was super sweet and chill, he decided to be wide awake.  I was amazed that he was able to focus a bit, so I would wait, and his eyes would find me before wandering off.

I love this outfit.  It is so soft and sweet.  And the colors just happen to also go well with his nursery.

Now usually, when I see blonde newborns, they are almost completely bald.  Lots of hair tends to be saved for black haired babies, typically.  But this little blondey had lots of hair, and even a curl popping out of the side there!  I can’t wait to see as he gets older if he keeps the curls.

I have a picture of a newborn with this hat in this basket up in the studio.  People almost always want to do this shot because….well, it is just adorable.  And he rocked it.

Then it was time to end up our session with this grey setting.  He enjoyed being all cuddled up in the fur.  Sweet dreams, little guy!
