Naperville Photographer, Elmhurst Photographer | Twins

Four years.  I have been photographing these twins for four years, watching them evolve from kids to now twelve year old tweens.  This past year, the boy has grown a ton!  And while still incredibly sweet, they have definitely entered into tweenhood personalities.  I wonder what next year will bring with them being teens?  I told them that they would always have to take some pictures touching or hugging, no matter how old they were.  Thankfully, they are still very touchy feely, so it wasn’t torture on them.  What did crack me up was that the boy for the life of him could not just smile.  He would give me a totally fake smile.  In order to get a real one, he would have to mentally prepare and then “turn it on”.  It cracked me up.  But it worked.  Guess all those years of drama paid off.   They were also wonderful because they let me try out my brand new lighting set up, which I loved.

 

This was probably my favorite smile I got from him because it was 100% natural and real.

 

This poor girl’s legs were covered in bug bites from her evening at softball.  Thanks for taking care of that, PhotoShop!

 

And this is definitely my favorite of them together, though there were a lot of great ones.
