Naperville Family Photographer, Plainfield Photographer

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family every other or few years for a long time.  I have seen the boys grow, and this time was a shock.  Suddenly, their oldest is like a man! How did that happen??  And the younger brother is now in junior high.  Last year, I photographed friends of theirs, and the mom really wanted something similar.  This is possibly my favorite location, so I was all for it.  Now, it is fall, but sometimes, things aren’t exactly as we would hope – especially if you are going to invest in a large wall piece.  Fortunately, I am a big photo editor, and made the trees from green to autumn colors.

They also brought along their adorable doggie.  He was such a sweetie.  How come all of my clients seem to have well behaved dogs and mine is … well… not??  I always welcome canine companions to be part of a portrait session. I think I say this every time of this group, but they are such a handsome family!

We pretty much included the dog in every other picture, though I seem to only be showing him in the first one.  I think this one is my favorite family picture.

Then it was time for just the brothers.

And then always I do individual pictures of the children.  He is looking so grown up!

I can’t wait to do this guy’s senior pictures in another couple of years.

I wonder if the next time I see this family if the mom will be the shortest person in the family?  Will the oldest have caught up with his dad by then?

Fall is almost at a close, which means I’m completely swamped for the next few weeks.  But if you missed out on scheduling your own family session, why not consider something in studio or something totally different – snow!
