Chicago Newborn Photographer, Naperville Newborn Photographer | Sweetness

I love me some baby fixes, especially to break up the fall family sessions that I’m drowning in.  I had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time recently when  they brought in their darling baby daughter for her newborn pictures.  She was ten days old and a sleepy pile of sweetness.  Her grandmother also came along for the session.  Grandparents are always welcome, and we did some special pictures of the two of them and the three generations, as well.

We did a lot of family pictures. I realize I don’t tend to show that many in my blogs for some reason, so I wanted to show this beautiful one of the new mommy and her beautiful girl.  The parents opted to risk some naked pictures.  I leave that choice to parents – we can do diapered and swaddled or naked, but no just diapers.  Thankfully, the baby didn’t make a mess on either of them.  I absolutely love this one of them – the intimacy captured, the color palette, the off center posing.

 

When they were on the bed, it was easier to have her swaddled.  The first picture of the new family of three.

 

Then onto the main attraction – our little newborn peanut.  The parents loved the floral wreath.  The deep colors are perfect for reflecting autumn.

 

Her skin glowed against the dark purple.

 

And she even mastered the head in the hands posed all on her own.  She looks ready for a kiss.

 

 

We also had fun with some props and boxes.  As you can see, she was at peace the entire time for the most part.

 

I know I already showed one of mommy and baby, but well…how about three generations of beautiful girls?
