Downers Grove Photographer, Naperville Photographer | twins

I have had the pleasure of photographing these two and a half year old twins since they were newborns.  It always seemed that one would be happy while the other was shy or not in a good mood.  This time was the first time that they required no time in warming up to me.  They were both super smiley and sweet and sooooo easy!  While twins are cute, they certainly are easier to photograph as they get older.  I think we have always been in studio in the past, so this was a first time to be outside with them.  They invited me to their beautiful home and spacious backyard that provided plenty of shade and scenery.

They had this great stairway on the side of their home. I love stairs for family posing.  And how wonderful do they look all dressed to the nines.  I especially love seeing a toddler in a suit coat.

These twins loved to give each other hugs.  Aren’t they sweet?

Of course, we had to do some individuals of them, as well.

This little guy was all smiles as he sat on a tall stool.

Grandma was there during our session to help out, so we made sure to get some pictures of her with her grandchildren.  I love this one with the twins holding hands.

Now, they wanted to get some Christmas family pictures done for their holiday cards, so they set up a small tree and had Christmas outfits ready for everyone.  I think this qualifies as a perfect holiday family picture.

Now, they also have a family tradition of children playing in the kitchen and having photographs of them doing so.  My client wanted to make a picture book of her kids playing in the kitchen as they love to.  As you can see, it was easy as could be to have them pretend cook.  He even got to taste the pretend batter she was making.  🙂
