Chicago Extended Family Photographer, Naperville Photographer
I had another extended family session recently, and I have to say, it was one of the most memorable ones I’ve ever had. This crew was such a blast. With fourteen people in studio, I had to work as quickly as possible, especially since we had some little ones in tow. We had people from New York, but most were from Chicago or the close suburbs. No one was actually from Naperville, so I was honored they had chosen me to do their family pictures. This was so much fun, as you can see from the sampling of images below. There was so much laughter happening. I could try to write out how everyone is related, but honestly, without a diagram and arrows, it is too confusing. So how about I just show you a smattering from this session. I ended up edited way too many pictures, but it was because there were so many great ones.
Let’s start with a picture of the whole group. Even the baby was smiling for me.
Then we had grandma with her grand kids. She looks way too gorgeous and young to be a grandmother, but there you go.
These two. I could have done a whole session of just them. I would simply put them near each other, and they couldn’t help but be adorable together. I did very little posing with them.
Now she was the one who actually coordinated this whole shebang.
Previously was his mother with the grandkids. Now are her parents. What is with such gorgeous women??
Then we had this brood and their crazy kids. LOL The kids actually did really well and were very well behaved.
There were so many moments like this that I captured. Personally, I love these candid moments of real family interaction. You can feel the closeness here. Poor dad is seriously out numbered.
And then we got all the girls together. The sass in these two is strong. 😉
It really was a great session. If you are in need of a family photographer, and you live in Chicago or the western suburbs, we hope you will consider Firefly Nights Photography to create such wonderful pieces to treasure these moments and relationships.
