I haven’t seen this family for a few years, but I always remember them.  Well, I should say that I remember the parents because I totally didn’t recognize the boys!  They have gotten so much older and bigger that I’m sure they didn’t remember me.  This is such a handsome family, and we had an amazing session together.  It was a bit windy, but you would never know.  Every now and then, I get a session that is just totally awesome – and this was one of them.  I’m so jealous.  I wish I had some like these of my own family.  This was actually a rescheduled session due to rain, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day.  It also gave their youngest son time to heal from an accident.  He still had scrapes on his face, but at least no swelling – so it was easy to edit out.  Swelling is not done so easily.

I got so many great family pictures that it was hard for me to narrow it down for the blog post.  This first one was something fun and different.  I need to do it more often, as I love the feel of it.  A cool, edgy feel as I lay down on the ground to shoot up at them.

 

Now this is just awesome and should be very big on a wall. When the subjects are smaller in the picture, you should really consider going really big on your print.  This would be a great 30×40.

 

Besides doing dramatic ones, I always love cuddly family pictures.

 

And of course, we got some of just the boys.

 

 

 

 

And what a great one to end the session.  You should have seen the individuals from this part.  With the older boy, I had him say something inappropriate (mom and dad weren’t close enough to hear). It got the best smirky smile from him. LOL
