This was a great session. Let me just say that up front. And since it was such a great session, I have to tell you with how it started. They had warned me that they were running late because the older daughter had dance pictures. Apparently, those lasted an absurdly long time, making both girls a bit, well, done. The little one was just overtired from the get go. At first she was shy, but quickly warmed up. But shortly after that, she became just totally overtired and DONE. Mom and dad were getting frustrated because nothing made her happy. At this point, we took a break while I took pictures of big sister. Little girl had a snack and drink and her pacifier and sat in the stroller. And that, my friends, was all she needed. After that, she was full of precocious smiles. We all had a great time. So see, sometimes there are blips along the road, but a bit of patience can do wonders.
It was a gloriously warm, sunny day.
It was right here where he had our break, including a change of clothing. I love the plaid shirts for this setting. And look at how much more relaxed they all are now.
Ok, now these last two images I just LOVE. The lighting and colors were just gorgeous.
This one, just touches my heart. It was unplanned. She was scared sitting up there (about four feet up). Her daddy was holding her and standing to the side tickling her. The emotion captured here is just pure joy. I’m so happy I caught it for them forever.
