Downers Grove Baby Photographer, Naperville Photographer | One Year

Sorry for the lack of posts – I took an actual vacation, including no computer!  But I’m back and back at work.  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these twins several times over the past year.  Their nursery is nautical themed, and when they were newborns, I photographed them in a life preserver.  The parents brought it back for their one year pictures.  It is fun to see how much they’ve grown!

 

The boy officially wins the award for the earliest walker I’ve ever had.  He was walking before he was nine months old!!  Crazy!  At their six month sessions, he was always the smiley happy one while his sister was very reserved.  Now at a year, he was still happy, but sister gave him a run for the money with her big smiles, which was wonderful to see.  It was also great to get some nice family pictures of the whole family.

 

 

Mom and dad went to Africa on their honeymoon and have a deep love for the place, along with their collected pieces.  She wanted to do a picture to represent this and brought in two boxes full of their African pieces, along with costumes for the twins.

 

Next up, mom is creating a family cookbook, including pictures of her and her sister as babies/children playing in the kitchen.  She wanted to include pictures of the twins to be put into this book, so we had fun creating this kitchen scene.  The babies were more than happy to bang around and pretend to stir, etc.  What kid doesn’t like pots and pans??

 

 

And last, but not least, they changed into these darling outfits for some individual pictures.

 

 

Now that they have reached their first birthdays, I won’t be seeing them as often, which is always sad.  But I look forward to the next time I see them to see how they’ve grown and changed.
