Naperville Photographer, Downers Grove Photographer | Family Pictures

I don’t get to do a ton of family pictures in the winter because most families want to wait for nice weather for outdoor sessions. So it was a nice change of pace to get this family into the studio recently.  The very first thing I noticed was how incredibly smiley their baby was – and how big!  He is SO tall, and he is only six months old!  I commented about his big smile, to which his big brother replied, “Yes, he smiles all the time!”  Big brother continued to be talkative with me, telling me all about his little brother, his class, what he thought I should do for pictures (like leave shoes on or off). LOL He was quite the little assistant at five years old.

 

 

 

Then it was time for the bed and to get more casual, with the baby in just a onesie and big brother in an undershirt and jeans.  When I offered for big brother to jump on the bed, he said he didn’t think that was a good idea!  I’ve never had that happen! LOL  Eventually, I talked him into it, though. 😉

 

 

 

 

The family wanted to recreate some pictures similar to those of when big brother was six months old.  This is always fine with me, and it was helpful to see some of the old images.  We got the baby naked and on the floor, to which he was again full of smiles.  You can see his little teeth in the smile!
