Bailey here is a 2015 senior at Naperville North High School – my alma mater…though we won’t bring up just how long ago I was there. 😉  Go Huskies!  It was fun to meet Bailey – she is super laid back.  A girl that pretty much never wears makeup, doesn’t fuss, and just likes to hang with her friends.  She also has a teen obsession with a certain boy band. LOL  When we talked about the look and feel she wanted for her session, we decided on both urban and edgy, but also some darker nature.  I didn’t see her as the bright, sunny field type of girl. She’s more earthy than that, but she was just right for the darkness of heavier woods and water.  I always try to represent the senior’s real personality in their session, not just something I want to do.

So when she was utilizing my hair and makeup team, we decided to keep her makeup fairly light, but wow, what a difference!  She looks stunning.  And she usually hates any lipstick, but admitted that this color was awesome.  Thank to my hair and makeup girls – they rock!  On this day (like many this summer), we were running the risk of rain.  But we had already rescheduled from rain before and were committed to doing this regardless of the weather.  I am so thankful that the rain held off for us.  I was going as fast as humanly possible.

Then onto some short shorts, but I loved the addition of the glasses and jacket.

 

 

Then she changed into the dress for our second location.  It was actually a good thing that it was cloudy because it allowed us to really see the water and not just have blinding glare.

 

While she rocked the serious, edgy look, she has such a gorgeous smile!
