When these twins’ mom called me for newborn pictures, they were already 5 weeks old.  Granted, they were born prematurely, but it is fairly old for newborn pictures.  What made it worse was that due to our conflicting schedules, I couldn’t get them in for an additional three weeks!  I even recommended they find another photographer, so they wouldn’t lose out on newborn pictures, but they insisted they wanted me (flattered). So when these twins came to see me, they were actually 8 weeks old, though not nearly that old gestationally. I tried to set their expectations low, and told them not to expect traditional newborn pictures due to their age.  Well, who knew we would luck out so much?!  Aren’t these babies just sweet as can be?
