Grace | Naperville Newborn Photographer, Downers Grove Newborn Photographer

I first met this family last year about this time when I did a family session and was thrilled to find out they expanded their family to include another daughter, little Grace.  Big sister was still just as beautiful and sweet as last year.  Don’t they make gorgeous girls?  Grace woke up shortly after doing pictures with her big sis, and dad took big sis out to get some food.  Well, she decided that there was a little too much attention being paid to the new baby and decided to lock her dad out of the building and run upstairs (which we didn’t know).  So he knocks on the outside window, I let him in, and then for literally the next 5 minutes – and you parents know how long 5 minutes is when scared to death – I held the baby while they ran all over the building and outside yelling for her.  It was a totally terrifying 5 minutes.  Thankfully, she was found hiding in a bathroom stall in the building (we were really worried she had escaped out the other exit).  After that drama – I think both the parents were probably ready to be done, but thankfully, everyone calmed down, and we had a wonderful session.  Hopefully, they can look at these pictures and laugh about the incident and see the beautiful children they have created.

I am very sad, though, that this family is moving soon.  🙁  I’m hoping they can come back and visit.
