Time Flies | Naperville Photographer
From the days when we held them in our arms and rocked them, to holding their hands as they crossed the street, time has been both a blessing, of bringing us new adventures and memories, and a curse as it takes away those precious times. Each day is a step away from when we were their whole world as they walk into adulthood. Am I being too maudlin? Sorry, being a mom of a senior has these thoughts heavy on my heart these days.

Their world is opening before our eyes. There is a reason young adult books and movies capture our imagination so well – the height of emotions. Everything is so big when you are 18 years old.

I really need to get over the thoughts of my youngest going away to college. Seeing these seniors makes me sad when it should be a time of celebration! As parents, we want to remember this special time in their lives. All their smiles, their smirks, their rolling eyes. Everything that makes them, them.

For this Naperville Central senior, she wanted the casual outdoors to reflect her own personality for her senior session.

These days, this senior is happy and thriving in college. It is in my nature to be a cheerleader for people. I love hearing how they get along in life and wish them all nothing but the best!

We are in the home stretch now for our 2026 seniors! If you haven’t already had your senior portrait session with Firefly Nights Photography, what are you waiting for?
