The Perfect Moment | Chicago Maternity Photographer

Becoming a parent changes everything, and maternity portraits are one of the best ways to honor this season. Being a Chicago Maternity Photographer (yes, technically, I am a Naperville photographer) I love specializing in amazing portraits. This means, I also get to use my expert lighting and posing both in and outside the studio. And maternity sessions are super special.

 

Maternity photography isn’t just about portraits. They are intimate. Like boudoir photography, we are celebrating a woman’s body, but in a totally different way. We are celebrating the amazing gift that is a woman’s ability to create and grow life.

 

With maternity sessions, sometimes it is only with the mother-to-be, and other times they include the dad-to-be, as well. This particular session, it was all about the two of them and their love for each other and their baby. I want to capture these quiet moments when it is still just the two of them.

 

And of course you get to get a little kiss in there.

 

This was a gorgeous session where every image was perfect, but this next one was my very favorite from the day. It looked like something out of a fairy tale.
