Its the Holidays | Naperville Photographer
It’s the holiday season…. Oh, wait. No it’s not! LOL But it was when I did these pictures! LOL
Every year, I do our Santa mini sessions, which are always a big hit. But we also offer Holiday mini sessions for those who don’t want a Santa session. These are perfect for families’ holiday cards. I love being a Naperville photographer for all my families. With my studio being located in the heart of downtown Naperville, it makes it super easy for families from all over Chicago to come see me and then make a date to go out to eat or shop.
I usually offer a few different sets for our Holiday mini sessions and welcome the whole family, or it can just be the kids. I think this backdrop was new to me this year, and so almost everyone chose it. It was super cute. Love the vintage Toy Shoppe. It reminds me of a Hallmark movie. lol
I pulled out both of my old wagons and plenty of vintage toys to help make the scene, depending on who I was photographing. Big or little, we made it all work.
I did get a lot of siblings, and they always liked either pulling their sibling or being pulled. We had lots of “ok, let’s go back to the start” moments.
But sometimes, we went above and beyond, and I got children to do a little acting, or make believe with me. I explained that I was going to make it snow, so they had to pretend to catch snowflakes on their tongues. With their scarves, they really sold the outdoor, winter feel.
I have many different sets, so some years, kids are in pajamas, but this was the year of people being in their dressy Christmas outfits.
But this set wasn’t the only one I did that year. I also had the pleasure of doing holiday pictures for someone’s newest baby. A fur baby!! This backdrop is one of my favorites. It is definitely a classy look, and not as playful, but the colors went perfectly with this puppy.
