Happy Anniversary | Naperville Photographer

Once upon a time, there was a lovely couple. They were so in love that after many years of marriage, they wanted to celebrate on their anniversary, so they decided to have pictures done.  Enter me. I don’t do a ton of just couple sessions, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love doing them! People, if it is in any way a portrait session (meaning not an event like a wedding), I am all in!  I am first and foremost a Naperville photographer, and that means I have a lot that I do.

 

Since it has been a while since this session (over a year), I don’t remember how many years they were celebrating, but I remember being shocked because they didn’t look old enough at all to have been married that long! I love the sign they brought to include in some pictures.

 

Don’t they look gorgeous? People kept stopping to tell them how great they looked.  There is nothing better than getting clients who are dressed to the nine’s. For you youngins, that means dressed formally.  LOL When you are paying for professional portraits, why not look your best?

 

Now, her dress was on fire! She looked amazing, so we decided to play it up a bit with some drama. It helps that all of this is within walking distance of my studio in downtown Naperville. It also worked out well for them because the kids were joining them for a nice dinner at one of downtown’s many restaurants after the session.

 

I hope these guys look back on these pictures and remember how much fun they had and how in love they were on this day. I certainly remember all the whistles they got standing here in front of the water. LOL
