Chicago Maternity Photographer | Long Awaited Girl

With your first child, you are simply excited to have a baby. A healthy baby, obviously. Most don’t really care if they have a boy versus a girl. Of course, some do, but most are just simply excited to have a child. Then you’re pregnant with your second child. This is when most secretly hope for the opposite sex. “One of each.” Isn’t that the saying? For some, that happens, for others, they are still happy enough to pass along the clothes they already have. 😉  So when this family was pregnant with baby number three after two boys, they were SO excited to be welcoming in a daughter!

 

As a Chicago maternity photographer, I offer several maternity gowns to be used during sessions, but she had brought this one along. It was perfect for a dramatic session with all the extra material.  Goodness knows I love a bit of drama, especially with maternity sessions.

The dress had no sleeve on one side and a very voluminous one on the other. It was like two different dresses depending on which side she faced.
