Naperville Family Photographer | Elmhurst Photographer
I really love being a Naperville family photographer and photographing families with older children or adult kids. Having everyone do what I say is a lovely treat for me. I think this family was pleasantly surprised with how quickly we moved through the session, which the guys definitely appreciated. What is it with guys not wanting to spend time in front of the camera? LOL They wore to different shades of blue, and that made for a great color palette with the five of them. I think that is a great way to allow for personal expression and individuality while still looking good together. This would work with other colors, too.
Let’s get started with this great family portrait.
We did some great individuals of the boys, as well. Let’s start with the oldest who was getting ready to start an internship at Disney!
The middle son is in college.
And their youngest son is in high school.
This next family picture was what they ordered as a large wall art piece. Isn’t it gorgeous? Having everyone doing something slightly different helps make it less formal and more “real”.
At the end, I was taking pictures of the boys together on this tree when I threw in mom and dad. Turns out I actually really loved this random picture. I offered to have mom and dad sit up there, too, but they were not about to do it. LOL
Obviously, this was months ago and I am horrible about keeping up with my blog. But it was certainly a gorgeous family session. Just because winter is almost here doesn’t mean we still can’t create awesome pictures no matter the weather. I’ve got ideas for a family session in snow if someone is up for something unique. And of course there is always a classic studio session. So if you are looking for a Naperville family photographer, look no further than Firefly Nights Photography.
