Naperville Photographer, Hinsdale Photographer | Toddlers
The last time I saw this beautiful boy, he was but a baby. Now he is a strapping little man in the throws of toddlerhood. 🙂 Back then, he didn’t have much hair. If my son had had these curls, I think I would have let them grow, too. I mean, check out these amazingly perfect golden locks! Now when you first see these initial pictures on the bed – which are adorable – I have to let you know that these stuffed animals came from their own home. I may need to get some of my own, as I love the colors here! We used the lion in his pictures last year, too. I love that he leaned over to snuggle with him. And how can you not smile back at this infectious, giggling face? Seriously, baby and toddler giggles are the best!
Then we changed sets and outfits, too. He was about to bust out of these overalls, but they still worked. I really love little boys in overalls, and it really carried out the whole vintage look we did with these pictures. Young toddlers aren’t about to sit still and smile for a camera, so having something for them to play with is a definite plus. He really enjoyed stacking these boxes and knocking them back down.
I absolutely love this image, it might be my favorite from this session. Look at those cheeks! Seriously. I just want to eat them. Okay, that is creepy. Maybe just nibble them a bit?
We have this great box. He didn’t really want to sit on it but he tried his best to get in it, the silly boy.
Lastly, his mom wanted classic pictures of him with just black, which is not the norm for me. He was really tired by this point and needed a snack break. But eventually we got some smiles again. Doesn’t he look impish here?
I always love closeups, and with those big cheeks, blonde curls, and blue eyes, I could just look at him all day. His parents must get nothing done. 🙂
