I believe I first met this family years ago when I did their first son’s newborn pictures.  Then I watched as he grew – always with one of the best smiles ever.  If you’ve been to my studio lately, you’ve see the big brother displayed on my wall with his corgis.  So imagine my delight when I found out they were pregnant with baby boy number two!  Now while I love newborns, I have to say, most simply look like….well, newborns. LOL  Some are beautiful, some look like little old men, but some actually do resemble a family member.  In this case, I totally saw his older brother in his face. I look forward to seeing how he looks as he grows.

And big brother was so wonderful with his new baby.  He thought it was hilarious to have the baby lay on top of him like this.

It was before Christmas when we had our session, so we made sure to create a beautiful holiday picture for their Christmas cards.  I love this one of the new family.

And since he is a winter baby, we had fun creating this winter wonderland with some of my leftover props from the holiday season.  I love all the white.

Besides being a beautiful babe, this little guy decided to be awake most of our session.  At least he was calm.  And we all know how I love monochromatic images.

How sweet is this little guy?  I love this outfit, that incidentally came from another client.

Look at those big eyes.  At least he was calm and fairly still for me.  I love this dark grey blanket.

And just one more of this little nine day old newborn. I think this was the first time I’ve done this pose with a baby who was actually awake.  I can’t believe he did it for us, though he doesn’t look too sure about it. LOL
