Sorry, I’ve so behind still on blogging!  I just got back from an amazing conference and am now back home, ready to work.  Let’s get us started with a session that was obviously before Christmas.  This new client brought me their sweet four month old baby for some pictures.  He was super sweet.  We started with my Christmas set up, and they pulled out a special ornament that was given to them.  You see, he was in the NICU for a while when he was born, and someone at the hospital gave that to them.  So we wanted to do a picture with the cross, and they gave the person a picture as a thank you.

 

We also had fun doing a snowy scene with these white trees and sled.  Do you like his snowman hat they brought?

 

After all this fun, this little guy started getting sleepy quickly.  The thumb went into the mouth, and the eyes began to droop.  But he was still sweet.

 

And then he fell asleep while we wanted to do family pictures.  It wasn’t worth it to wake him up – don’t wake a sleeping baby!  I didn’t want a super cranky baby on our hands, as that isn’t going to make for good pictures.  But sleeping babies still make for sweet pictures.

 

We wanted to do a couple more, and lo and behold, he woke up smiling!  Yay!

 

Since he was only four months old, he couldn’t sit, but he was strong enough to hold himself upright while leaning against something, so this box worked great.
