Elmhurst Photographer, Naperville Photographer |Siblings

With as many clients as I photograph each year, my memory sometimes fails me with remembering everyone.  But clients who have been with me for many years, are almost like extended family who I get to see once a year.  I find out how they are doing in school, what they are up to.   This is one such family.  Their son always reminds me of my own son.  He is just a few years older, so I use him as a preview of whats to come.  He is so awesome.  And their daughter, while exactly my son’s age, is just like my daughter.  She has been full of spunk and sass since she was a little girl.  Now at twelve, she calmer, but still has that spark.

It was very windy on our day together, but they were great sports.  She sort of froze in between shots, but there were no real complaints.  I also have to thank my friend who came along to assist me with carrying my light (which would have definitely blown away without him).

I think this is my favorite one from their session.  And I love her long socks out of the boots!

Hinsdale photographer

I think she was desperately trying to keep up her body heat. LOL

Downers Grove photographer

Now in high school, I can’t get over how mature he is this year!  It is sort of crazy – quite the handsome man he is turning into!

Elmhurst photographer

I think this was the picture they used for their Christmas cards this year.

Burr Ridge photographer

The sky looks fake, I know.  But it isn’t.  It was a brilliantly blue and cloudy day, and with my lighting, I can capture the full color of the sky at the same time.

Wheaton photographer

Again – crazy fake looking skies! LOL  When I took one of the pictures of her on a fence, I showed it to her because it looked like she was in front of a backdrop!

I hope you are enjoying reading through my blog and looking at my images.  And better yet, I hope you contact Firefly Nights Photography the next time you need portraits done for your family!
