Naperville Photographer, Downers Grove Photographer | Family

I love it when families continue to come back to me through the years.  It lets me watch the children grow like some weird aunt.  I probably am just like some crazy aunt who always has a camera and says inappropriate things. LOL  The last time I saw this family, they were expecting their youngest daughter, so this is my first time meeting her.  She was initially very serious with me, but they said that is simply the way she is.  Knowing that, we let her be – as long she wasn’t upset.  Big sister, though, made up for the lack of smiles.  At only four years old, she spoke with the articulation and vocabulary of an eight year old.  I bet the next time I see this family, their younger one will be the same way!

But then out of the blue, we get this gem and smile!  I love this one. Sometimes, just being silly leads to the best pictures.

Like I said, big sis was full of smiles and so easy and fun to work with.

This setting is one of my very favorites.  By adding some additional light, the colors are just gorgeous and sunny.

By this point, the little one was perfectly happy.  Look at this happy girl!  If we started clapping, she would clap along.

Her big sister wasn’t about to be outdone in the cute department, though.  When we were finished, she even asked if I could come over for a playdate.  I guess I will take that as the biggest compliment a four year old can give to an adult!

And just one more of this little one clapping in the bright sun.  “Yay!” we cheered and clapped, to which the toddler responded in kind. 😉

The days of bright, warm sunshine are coming to an end as we head into autumn.  Of course, it is raining as I type this.  But never forget studio is always an option.  😉
