Naperville Photographer, Burr Ridge Photographer | Two

I have had the pleasure of photographing this little guy since he was a newborn.  He is now two and has magically turned into a little person!  I’m not sure what the magic age is when one changes from baby to toddler, but this boy is all toddler.  He was SO HAPPY.  Yes, that deserved to be in all caps.  Seriously, he was SO HAPPY.  Two year olds can be really rough if they aren’t in the mood.  Thank goodness, I had nothing to worry about with him.  The other thing that can be really tough is that I decided to bring along my lighting, which sort of requires my subject to stay where I want…something that toddlers do not typically do well. And he was no exception, but we were able to play games to get him where we wanted him.  He would never actually be against anything, so instead, I would have him slap or bang against things, which is always a fun thing.

 

Could he be any cuter?  Such big blue eyes full of mischief.

 

He refused to sit on the ground here, so when dad came to lend a hand, I loved their interaction.

 

Bugs, sticks, and weeds – he was in boy heaven.  There was lots of running around and throwing things at me.  And giggling.  Let’s not forget the giggling.

 

I think I had asked him to sit there and pointed to the spot.  So he crouched and touched the spot, instead.  I’ll take it.  LOL

 

Then we finished our session by putting him up on a ledge (daddy was ducking down behind him to keep him safe).  The two year old thought it was great to be up so high!
