I photograph a lot of babies and young children, so it is especially wonderful to take a break from tireless toddlers and photograph older siblings.  What a treat (and how quickly a session can go) when everyone just does what I say. LOL I had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time recently. They were referred by a past client – which I so very much appreciate!  We had a beautiful day, and a beautiful location for these beautiful people.  There, that is enough of that word.  They were all wonderful to work with and so nice.  If only every session could be so easy!  Of course, I always love photographing dancers (which all three girls are) because they understand posing and playing to the audience (which would be the camera).  They are aware of their bodies and can move gracefully and naturally.  Definitely a plus for pictures!

Mom and dad did not originally plan on being in any pictures, but I’m so glad I talked them into just being in one.  What a great one of the entire family!

 

After that, I focused on the kids together.  This one right here is my favorite.  I love their natural smiles and playfulness.

 

Then I thought it would be fun to do something different.  I made sure each one had their own pose.  Makes me think of an album cover.

 

This was taken at the very end of the session.  It felt good to stick their feet in the cold water and cool down.

 

Of course, we also had to do individual pictures of each of the siblings.  Let’s start with the baby of the family.

 

Then next in line.  She had a beautiful smile, as well, but I loved her serious expression.

 

Then we have the oldest sister who is in college.

 

And their big brother who is also in college.
