Naperville Photographer | One Year Old Baby

It was a pleasure to meet this new family and their sweet little girl who is turning one!  I learned that she is a serious little girl, contemplative and quiet.  But even so, we got some smiles out of her, but mostly, she was content to just look around and be present.  She has such amazingly blue eyes that are just beautiful!  I can’t wait to see how much she changes as her hair grows in.  I was the same way – my mom says I was bald until I was three. LOL

With that fair skin, she practically glows.  I love this one – the contrast of softness with the rough rocks, and the light and dark.

 

You can really see those eyes here and her soft smile.  My daughter always sucked in her lower lip, too.  🙂

 

And, of course, we had to get some family pictures, too.  I love steps for posing families.

 

We left the steps and found a small field of flowers, just perfect for a little girl.  She was very interested in them.

 

I wanted to get a real smile from her, so I had mom and dad take her by the hands and do a little bit of 1, 2, 3 wheee.  Do you think she liked it??  Check out that big smile from her – I love that you can see those two little bottom teeth.

 

She also enjoyed banging rocks.

 

What is great is that I get to see this family again come fall because this little one is going to be a big sister!

 

Mom and dad are certainly going to be busy with two babies!  I told them that since she is so calm and quiet, you know their next one is going to be a terror.  It’s not fair to get two little angels! LOL
