Our weather this summer has been pretty crazy. We’ve had lots of rain and lots of horribly hot days. I’m a girl who is not a fan of summer. Give me cooler weather any day! On the original day of our session, it was in the 90’s and super humid. They decided to try rescheduling, so they wouldn’t be super sweaty for the pictures. On this day, it was still warm, but not crazy hot and humid – thank goodness!
It was a pleasure to meet this new family and walk around the beautiful grounds. We wanted to create some beautiful family portraits of them all together, as well as ones of the girls. We had such a gorgeous setting and beautiful family, it would have been hard to not have great pictures.
These white stairs are classy and perfect in their coloring, so that everything goes with them.
It was so warm still, that I tried my best to find some shade to cool down in between the sunny areas. This reflecting pond made for a beautiful setting. Such beautiful sisters.
You know I love the serious looks. You can just fall into her big, dark eyes.
I love this one of them – both the pose and the beautiful flowers.
I think they got a kick out of getting their feet wet in the cold water. How much longer will they agree to hold hands? They are getting to the age where I bet the days are limited.
And, of course, we had to get a great one of the parents on their own. The best part about doing sessions late in the day is the lighting.
I love meeting new clients. I hope I get the pleasure of watching them through the years as the girls grow up.
