Chicago Newborn Photographer, Downers Grove Newborn Photographer
I love when my past clients come back to me as their family grows. I first met this family to do their eldest daughter’s newborn pictures, and I’ve seen them several times since then. It’s hard to believe their little girl is already a big sister! She really didn’t feel like sitting still or doing much with pictures, but we wrangled her for a few. I really love this first family picture. We had to bribe her by placing little snacks on mommy’s hip for her to sit still and eat. Whatever is needed to get the picture, right?
And then since she didn’t want to actually hold the baby or really touch the baby much, she was willing to give her baby sister a kiss. I love her expression.
This was a new set up for me. I had seen this floral wreath and loved the colors. It worked out great for little Adalyn, don’t you think? And I love how she looked right at me here.
Then it was time for some blanket shots.
She curled up just perfectly for this butterfly picture. I love her little foot sticking out. And this pink makes her skin look so creamy.
I always forget that I even have these frilly outfits. So glad I found them for her – I love how the fuchsia pops against the dark brown.
This hanging circle prop looks like it might be hard, but it is seriously one of the easiest things to do with newborns. So comfy, apparently. And it can be so versatile by changing the background. Personally, I love this pink one for girls.
And this basket is still a favorite for most clients…for just this reason. She’s perfect in it.
Welcome to the world, little Adalyn! I can’t wait to watch you grow.
