This is the spring of past clients having their second babies and coming back to me.  Nothing honors me more than when clients return to me again and again.  It is a privilege and an honor when I have done the oldest child’s newborn pictures and then they choose me again to carry on the tradition with their second child.  This family is always fun.  Dad is a crack up, and their daughter has the most amazing hair ever! Seriously, check out all that gorgeous hair!  And now she is a big sister to a baby brother.  I can’t wait to see who he looks like as he gets older.

What a happy family! Congratulations to them on their newest member.

 

I absolutely love the color grey with newborns.  It is timeless and beautiful with either boys or girls.

 

They brought in this great star and moon hat – perfect for my Goodnight Moon setup!

 

This little guy was so sleepy and peaceful with me.  At only nine days old, he was simply dreamy.  I love when they place their hands together under their little cheeks.

 

I’m not usually big on black and whites.  It’s simply not my personal preference, but when a client specifically asks for it, I love it like this – when everything was light and fairly monotone in color.

 

Then our little guy woke up for a bit.  I love his expression here.

 

Then it was time for some color.  They chose my favorite blue.

Firefly Nights Photography recommends doing newborn photography sessions within the first two weeks of life.  The younger, the better!  We are not just a newborn and baby studio, though.  I love to stay with families as their personal photographer throughout the years, all the way through high school senior pictures and beyond!
