Naperville Maternity Photographer
So I was inspired by an incredible maternity photographer on the other side of the country. I’d been wanting to do something with windows back lit with my lights and drapes, etc. Then I have this maternity client – she is a past client of mine – and she tells me she wants to do something with lots of light and white. Well, I knew this would be the perfect session to test out a new set up. So I went to Lowe’s and bought some windowed doors. My kids painted them (which they enjoyed), and my husband built in a kick stand to make them stay upright. Then I placed two large lights behind the doors to create the same look as a bright sunny day….just picture perfect. 😉
We have a couple of new outfits to offer for maternity sessions, as well. How gorgeous is this family picture, celebrating this moment when it is still just the three of them? I love that they all wore white.
So pretty and dreamy with all this white and light.
I love this one, focusing on their little girl before she is a big sister. You would never know that she was a pill at first. She tends to be very shy and not happy at first the last couple times I have photographed her. But once we started talking about the ice cream she was going to get when she was done…well, this was her telling me all about it. I actually recommended that daddy take her to Frost, a great gelato shop within walking distance.
Then it was time for our next gorgeous maternity outfit – a soft blue lacey number that is simply stunning. And she rocks this!
Is it just me, or is this one just amazing?
Most of my clients love my ivory dress with the beautiful blinged out belt. I have yet to see a pregnant client not look like a goddess in it.
Lastly, we did some artistic nude images, including my standard rim lighting ones where you only see her outline. The last picture of the session was this one. I loooove it. She looks so beautiful.
I can’t wait to meet their son when he arrives! Enjoy these last weeks.
