Chicago Newborn Photographer, Naperville newborn photographer
First quarter is always so slow around here. I was delighted to get to spend some time with this sweet newborn baby recently. She was such a big girl at only eight days old! She was born at over ten pounds, so that would do it. She was also such a sweetie. Seriously, this was one of my easiest newborn sessions ever. She was sleepy pretty much the entire time, and the best part – she didn’t pee or poop on anything! We were quick enough to put a diaper on her when we knew it was coming. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby.
Since the studio is set to extra warm, I always do the family pictures first, so they haven’t totally melted. I love this one of them. They both said they were not photogenic. I beg to differ.
After doing several with the new mom and dad, it was time to work with the baby. I was excited to use a new prop that they picked out. I love the monochromatic scene of all white. It is so dreamy and peaceful.
And I tell parents when we try to do this pose that it may or may not work. Some babies really fight it, and it isn’t worth making them upset, but this little babe was so easy! She was just fine settling into it.
They also picked out my new purple blanket set. I love it with its matching long wrap. And check out that little smile she gave me.
She woke up here for a bit, and we got a great picture of her with her eyes open. I think she is going to have daddy’s dark eyes.
I love seeing her little rolls on her side here, along with her perfect little toes.
Ok, I wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to get her feet close to her face since she was bigger, but she latched onto her feet and didn’t let go. It was adorable.
