I love it when families get together for an extended family photography session.  They are so important. These are definitely the pictures that get passed down through generations. When is the last time you had nice pictures done of your entire family?  Whenever I have these sessions, I make sure to photograph every possible breakout of grouping – entire family, individual families, grandparents and grandchildren, cousins, individuals, couples, etc.  This was a wonderful group to work with. We have the grandparents, their two adult children, and both of those families.

I always see them as personal posing challenges – how to get them in the right configurations. People are like lego pieces for me. 😉

This is probably my favorite grouping.

 

 

Then we had to get the grandkids some great pictures.  I really hope I get to work with this girl when it is time for her senior pictures.  She is just gorgeous!

 

This one couldn’t help but smile.  It cracked me up.  He would try to not smile then end up with a big one on his face.

 

But his brother was a serious type, which I loved.

 

When setting up the cousins together, we did a “nice” one, but then we wanted one to show the real them.  At first I thought the three of them could horse play together, but it just wasn’t them.  I think this works, don’t you? LOL
