Naperville Photographer, Downers Grove Photographer | Christmas Mini Sessions

My fall mini sessions have always been my big thing and then I taper down.  In the past, when people wanted holiday pictures, they would still have to do a full session.  I started to feel bad making people pay for a full session for pictures that aren’t going up on their wall but mainly for holiday cards or the occasional small print.  So this year I broke the mold and offered Christmas mini sessions for $300, providing three digital images in return.  I will definitely do it again next year, but I already have ideas for something special.  You’ll just have to wait and see what that will entail.

When the families arrived, I gave them the option of which set up they wanted to use.  Most chose my brand new backdrop, which I just loved.  I’m pretty jealous that I never got my own kids in front of it. Maybe I’ll do that this weekend…  I had seven families join me on this day.

I hadn’t seen this family in a couple of years.  It is crazy how tall the boys have gotten!  I’m looking forward to doing the oldest’s senior pictures this winter.  They looked great with this classy set up.

And how sweet where these three in front of the silvery bokeh?  Next time I see them in the spring, she will be a big sister!

Last time I saw this guy, he was still in momma’s belly!  He was so adorable!

I got to see these three last year for one of my fall mini sessions.  Great to see them again!

I had photographed this little girl’s one year pictures in the summer. She fell madly in love with my big teddy bear during our session and refused to let it go.

We went with my cozy Christmas set up for this pretty little girl. She also loved my teddy bears and wanted them near her.  LOL  The next time I see her, she will also be a big sister!

And last, but not least, a family that is always on my mind and in my heart.  You’ve read about their struggles in previous blog posts, like the little guy’s one year pictures a few months ago.
