Downers Grove Senior Photographer, Naperville Senior Photographer
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for a couple years. Now I got the pleasure of photographing this 2016 high school senior. I hope to be photographing her twin sister in the spring for her senior portraits. When we had our consultation, I learned that she is in color guard. I freely admit I know nothing about color guard, so as we talked more, I got really excited. They showed me this beautiful dress which is like a sunset. We really lucked out with a gorgeous day and had such a great time together. She started off in studio with getting her makeup done – which totally rocked, by the way. My makeup artists are awesome and can do so much variety, especially with these seniors.
Okay, on to the pictures! Let’s start with some athlete pictures of her with her flag.
Then it was time for an outfit and location change. She cracked me up here, as she was worried about snakes and critters.
I was quick to get her out of the tall grasses, no worries.
I love when she took her hair down. Such a different look.
And then another outfit and hair change! I love the plum colors on her. I think this was her quintessential self.
Love the makeup on her! So gorgeous.
How is this for a beautiful collage of her in the color guard dress? It would look great as a metal print. I love metals for seniors – cool and edgy.
I want to thank her cousin who came along and acted as my assistant. She was a hoot.
If you have a 2016 high school senior and live in Chicago or the western suburbs and still need to have their senior pictures taken, we hope you consider Firefly Nights Photography. Of course, we offer more than senior portraits. Check out our Galleries for more examples of our work.
