Naperville Senior Photographer, Elmhurst Senior Photographer
Wow, two blog posts in one day! I got to have a gorgeous session with this Naperville Central High School 2016 senior recently. When we had our consultation, I asked what interests she had, any passions, etc. Well, this girl is an introvert who loves to read, especially reading mysteries. She didn’t want bright sunny fields, but darker colors. I thought on it for a moment and then had a great idea of bringing my grey couch outside. Originally, I was going to put her under a tree and shoot from above, but then I had the idea of going to this abandoned house. The courtyard was dark and shaded, and ivy was overrunning the house. It was the perfect set up for a mystery lover. I had her bring a box of books to be used.
It was a dark day for our session, and we were chasing the light before the sunset. Even though it was dark outside, I think it lent to some gorgeous colors. She did an outfit change, and we went to our second location. It was chilly on this day, but at least she was dressed in a sweater.
You can see how pretty she is here, and I love my makeup artist’s light touch.
I love these deep green colors. There is definitely something to be said for a dark day. She looks like she is in a spot light.
When we went into this valley or ravine or whatever, it is so pretty with all the golden leaves. Granted, I enhanced it, but it really was golden.
Such a beautiful session for this sweet senior. She plans on majoring in Elementary Education, and I can totally see that being her calling. Though I wonder if she will read them mysteries. 😉
